In July 2020, Requisite completed a 3 year $4 million contract with Leighs Construction working on the new 8 storey  Mount Eden prison cell block, designed to house 300 prisoners.   Requisite was contracted to supply and install pre-cast steel framed cell windows complete with glazing and prison bar units.  In addition Requisite provided intruder and fire resistant steel framed windows and security doors throughout the complex along with pass trays, Bohler bar grilles and a section of steel framed curtain wall.

This was a logistically challenging project involving 15 staff working in a prison environment where strict security protocols involving controlled access and movement of personnel, tools and materials had to be observed.

Over 3 years and thousands of man hours, the project was completed on schedule, on budget, with no major safety incidents and only 1 minor work-related injury.
